Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is the susceptible to the problems, because at that time emotion not stable. A problem that currently experienced many teenagers is a manifestation of stress such as depression, anxiety, irregular eating patterns, drug abuse as well as other diseases. The states of teenagers’ unstable emotional causes the individuals inclined to conduct a fugitive away by eating lot of foods which containing calories or high cholesterol, so as to cause obesity. This study attempts to know the difference adequate level of the macro nutrients (carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and water) based on the level stress on adolescent girls the inhabitants of the daughter in Rusunawa UNIMUS Residence I.

Methods: The kind of research is analytic with the approach cross sectional. The 84 samples are about the adolescent girls determined by the simple random sampling. The data analysis is using test of one-way ANOVA.

Result: The research results show that most of (73, 8%) adolescent girls who occupant Rusunawa UNIMUS experience medium stress. The adequate level of adolescent girls’ macronutrient largely also is still classified as the deficit and less , it is ( 73,8 % ) deficit adequacy levels of carbohydrates , ( 53.6 % ) deficit the adequate level of fat , ( 36.9 % ) deficit the adequate level of protein , and ( 83,3 % ) less the adequate level of water.

Conclusion: While from the statistical tests indicate that there is no the difference in the adequacy carbohydrates ( p = 0,271 ) , fat ( p = 0,341 ) , protein ( p = 0,770 ) and water (p= 0,523 ) based on the level stress on adolescent girls.
