Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a period where mental health disorders are prone to occur due to physical, physiological, and psychological changes. Psychological is closely related to mental. Mental health is a mental condition that is not affected by certain disorders. Fruits and vegetables help the body's metabolism, especially with regard to psychological conditions..

Methods: This study used a systematic review method by reviewing 7 articles related to the relationship between fruit and vegetable consumption and adolescent mental health.

Result: Fruits and vegetables can help in maintaining a balanced psychological state of the body which is associated with good mental health.

Conclusion: It is known that fruit and vegetable consumption plays an important role in maintaining adolescent mental health, so it is necessary to pay attention to the consumption behavior of fruits and vegetables in adolescents.
