Diet Gluten Free Casein Free sebagai Terapi Pendukung Penyandang Autis

Abstract

Autism is a kind of cognitive and motoric disorder that cause socialization, communication, and behavior problem. Nowadays the number of children with autism disorder increase continuously about 0,15% or 6.900 children within a year and most of them are boys. So, there must be an alternative solution to handle such as dietary approaches with gluten free casein free diet. This diet makes the autism have to avoid the food with gluten and casein protein such flour, wheat, and milk. There are various approval evidence about the significantly effect of gluten free and casein free diet towards behavior changes in autism such more controllable and stable emotion. This diet can be success if the surrounding people want to involve and support the therapy processes, especially the autism children's mother. It cause mother has the main role to determine and shape the dietary habit and parenting feeding. This diet is expected to support the therapy for autism based on food and nutrition medication.
