Biskuit Moringa Ria Sebagai suatu Strategi Penanggulangan Gizi Kurang dan Gizi Buruk pada Balita Miskin Berbasis Masyarakat

Based on Health Research Association in 2010, the prevalence of toddler suffering poor nutrition is 13 % (2,947,368 toddlers) and malnutrition 4.9 % (906,882 toddles). Terms of the health and nutrition problems, toddler included in the nutrition of vulnerable groups are the social group most easily suffers nutritional disorders, because they are undergoing a process of relatively rapid growth. As a result of malnutrition, the toddler will be susceptible to infectious diseases that can lead to increased child mortality. This literature review aims to provide a solution to the nutritional problems that occur in toddler in Indonesia through the provision of Moringa biscuit as one coping strategies malnutrition and malnutrition in toddler in poor communities. Moringa Ria biscuits are biscuits with Moringa extract. These biscuits contain macro nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats that can daily supplicant’s toddler at a certain serving. In the response to nutritional problems, these biscuits can be provided through supplementary feeding programs for free. Given these biscuits expected problems of malnutrition and malnutrition in Indonesia can be overcome without having to spend a huge budget, so that the achievement of a healthy Indonesia may soon be realized.
